WOOT! The only Human's sheet is finally up!

For everyone who doesn't already know:

Karissa (though she prefers Kari) loves mythology so much that when tested by the private school, Ludus, she is admited. The school only admits mythical or magical beings... and Kari has NO power.... Oops they made a Big mistake!
Heres Pro Gladdii, is the story of the resulting years at Ludus.

Kari is one of the characters designed for my senior project. I am working with my best friend :iconshoydragonrider: to draw a comic (well we're telling the teachers it's a graphic novel).

In Heres Pro Gladdii (the comic) Kari manages to get into a very private school, which happens to only admit mythical beings.... however their tests messed up big time and now they are stuck with her.

would you like more background?
I have nearly 27 pages of background stuff on this :)

Lol! Even Shoy gets board of me after the tenth page of background... so I've learned to stop after the summary most of the time.

So would you like more on Kari's life before entering Ludus or after?

well I little bit about the the before story would be nice, but the most interesting thing is how she came to this school and how she reacted when she found out what it was and how coped with it.

Karissa's father travels around the country a lot taking his wife and only daughter with him. So Kari has never really gotten to stay in one place for more than a year.

When she hears about the private boarding school right outside of the town she begs to be allowed to take the tests with all of the other students. There are three tests: the exam, a physical, and some kind of talent. Kari got a perfect score on the Exam and did well in the talent portion but failed the physical piece.

(The tests were only put in place to placate the town's people about why none of their students ever got in.)

As you know she makes it in... Okay so if she had missed even one thing on the exam part she wouldn't have gotten in. The Dean believes that one of the students must have done something with one of the town's girls and so admits Kari without meeting her.

The Dean changes many of the school rules to make the change easier for Kari (yes I have most of the school's rules memorized and written down...). This means that Kari doesn't at first know she is attending a a school for magical persons.

As to the rest that is the subject of Shoy's and my first comic... So if you stick around the whole thing will be done in February and will be finished being posted sometime in March (the first issue will be about 18 pages long).

As to how she copes... Kari is in myth heaven and stalks a few of the other students :}

the talent test works kind of like a talent show... you say what your best at and then do it before the judges, who hopefully like it.
